Romantic, elegant, personal, lighthearted – what you want is what you’ll get, My ceremonies are bespoke, created especially for each couple. Together we will fill your unique ceremony with joy, lots of happy tears, laugh out loud moments always making sure it is personal and meaningful to you both. If you wish to remember those who can’t be with you than we can weave that into your ceremony too.
With me you have someone who is calm and understands that it’s perfectly natural to feel a bit nervous on the day – I’ve yet to meet a couple who haven’t felt a bit of a “jelly wobble” at some stage!! No need to worry – I will make sure your ceremony runs smoothly. I will guide you through each step so you never have to think about “what do we do next?” & sure if Auntie Jane takes a fit of sneezing in the middle of the vow exchange we will deal with that too!!
Weddings ceremonies should be beautiful, meaningful, full of love, joy and happiness, but we can always squeeze in some craic & laughter too!! I’m happy to incorporate any elements you wish (though please don’t ask me to skydive into the ceremony area – I’m terrified of heights)
Diversity is vitally important in my ceremonies. It doesn’t matter what age, gender, sexual orientation or disability a person has, everyone deserves to have the wedding of their dreams.
My nursing background makes me highly experienced in working with people who are neurodiverse, have dementia, are disabled or who have other conditions. I ensure everyone’s needs are catered for in our preparation for your ceremony.
All of the ceremony preparation will have been done in the months leading up to your wedding day and I will ensure it all comes together on the day. I will arrive at your venue at least two hours in advance & will unobtrusively let you know that I’m there, that I’ve checked out the ceremony area & it’s looking beautiful, and allow you to relax and enjoy the excitement of getting ready for the big day ahead.
Whether you’d like to incorporate religious elements or not, wish to blend traditions or add readings, songs, and poems that resonate with you, the choice is yours. As an Entheos Celebrant I’d be delighted to include any of your wishes. Involving loved ones (perhaps parents or those we are especially close to) can add a very touching element to your ceremony, be it through candle lighting or a symbolic hand-tying ritual or whatever symbol you choose. And if you have children, we’ll find a special role for them—they are the VIGs (Very Important Guests)
Every couple pledging themselves to each other for life is unique and we as Entheos Celebrants are committed to inclusivity & diversity. A beautiful way to enhance your ceremony is to include a ceremony enhancement. That enhancement can be anything from a symbolic candle lighting (when two become one) ring warming, lighting a remembrance candle, celtic hand fasting and many more -its up to you. If there’s a particular element of your culture that you would like included we will incorporate that if feasible.
