about me

I am a Registered Legal Solemniser for weddings in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. I am highly experienced Funeral Celebrant who also provides baby/child welcoming and life event ceremonies.

I am a warm, friendly, approachable person who remains calm and reassuring under pressure, and who has a great sense of humour – all attributes I’ve used throughout my career as a Registered Nurse and Registered Social Care Manager.

After attending my sons’ Celebrant-led weddings, I was struck by how their ceremonies truly captured the couple’s individual personalities, were totally couple-centred, yet made all the guests feel included in such a happy event. I knew I wanted to become a Celebrant so I could create the same beautiful memories for other couples.

Why choose me as your Celebrant?

I offer bespoke legally-binding wedding ceremonies seven days a week across the island of Ireland. I will work with you to create something truly bespoke which will reflect your unique story.

I believe in the absolute equality of all people and I want you to have the perfect inclusive ceremony that captures your values, beliefs and personality. Due to my professional nursing and social care experience, I will ensure guests with specific needs are considered in the preparation for your ceremony.

I am calm, composed and my attention to detail is second to none. I will spend time getting to know you, and will give my undivided attention to the preparation for your special day. This allows me to create a warm, bespoke, and totally personalised ceremony.

Should you wish, I would be pleased to give you ideas on readings, poems, ceremony enhancements but the most important thing is I will listen to you and ensure that together we incorporate your vision into your ceremony.
